Our Staff
SENIOR PASTOR
Jim Helzer
Jim recently joined the congregation of Antioch Christian Church in July of 2025 as the Senior Pastor. He is very excited to be at Antioch, and is passionate about helping other people find their place not only in God’s kingdom, but in the advancement of God’s kingdom as well.
Jim grew up in Colorado and came to Kansas in 1985 to attend Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas. After graduation, he made the most of his science background and began working in the environmental industry. Over time, he began to transition into the corporate world, serving in a leadership capacity for many of the organizations he worked for.
In 2007, Jim made the decision to stop running away from the call that the Lord had placed on his life early on and began serving as an Associate Pastor at the local church that he was attending. Jim was appointed to his first Senior Pastor role in 2010, and has been serving in that capacity ever since then. It was during this time that Jim returned to school and earned a Master of Divinity degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.
Jim and his wife Marcy were married in 2002, and have lived outside of Wichita ever since then. They have four, now grown children, between them.
Music Director
Rick Wilson
Rick was introduced to music ministry at an early age, being at, near, and under the piano as his mom played for worship services and as a choir accompanist. He took up the viola at age 10 and reacquainted himself with the piano in high school.
In college, Rick played keyboard with the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship worship team. Following graduation, he played keyboard and piano at Riverlawn Christian Church for 8 years. He and his wife Michelle then transitioned to Southwest Baptist Church for five years before coming to Antioch Christian Church in 2009.
Outside of the church setting, Rick periodically plays with the Delano Chamber Orchestra and keeps busy with his day job as a medical facility designer and master planner.

Secretary
Judy Jensen
Judy's family moved to Wichita in 1987, where she graduated from High School. After becoming a single mother, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 18, worked nights, and graduated at the top of her college class, even through the loss of a child. She then married, was blessed with three more children, became a stay-at-home mom, and used her gifts of creativity during her fifteen years of teaching second and third grade Sunday School classes. To help ends meet, she developed and ran a small business for over twelve years while homeschooling her four children into adulthood.
Her family came to Antioch in 2013 and began serving others in many areas. Judy joined Antioch's staff as secretary in 2014 and has continued lovingly serving the church body since then.
