During the Stay at Home orders we will be recording and uploading lessons for our Roots Children's Church for the whole family to watch and learn together.
Here at Antioch we strive to make sure our kids become firmly rooted in Jesus Christ. We do this through coming alongside parents, teaching biblical truths, and encouraging kids every step of the way. Our Children's programs are broken up into three areas: Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and special events.
On Sunday mornings we have Sunday School for K-5 at 9:30 A.M. until 10:15 A.M.
During the Church hour at 10:30 we have Roots , our Children’s Church. Our goal for Roots comes from Colossians 2:7, which says, “Plant your roots in Christ and let him be the foundation for your life. Be strong in your faith, just as you were taught. And be grateful” (CEV).
Roots is a fun filled time where we sing songs together, learn from the Bible, play games, and eat snacks.
During Wednesday nights during the school year we have Masters Builder's from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30.
First through fifth graders earn points, badges, and real tools through the course of a school year during this fun & exciting, one-hour, power-packed, Wednesday evening kid's club which is designed to include exercise through action games, crafts, practical & social skills, and Scripture lessons in the same amount of time it will take you to run a quick errand or have a short break with a friend! Class begins downstairs in the East Wing with one of the kids ringing a bell at 6:30 pm sharp and concludes at 7:30 pm after a fun game.
We love to have times outside the regular church meeting for children and families to interact in fellowship and fun.
Whether it's at one of our NERF wars, or water balloon fights or maybe even our watermelon and sno-cone hangout, we love spending quality time and getting to know our kids and families better.
During the summer months we have a special event once a month, including Vacation Bible School.
During Sunday mornings we also have a Pre-School and Nursery ministry. For the Sunday school hour, all infants and children under 5 are welcome in the nursery, where they are cared for by our professional nursery workers.
During the Church hour, children from ages 3 to 5 are welcome to our pre-school ministry, Little Roots, where they will read or be read Bible stories, and play games.
