In the spirit of cooperation, we will be complying with the CDC recommendation of limiting meetings greater than 10. We are making every effort to make this present National crisis a positive opportunity for the church. We are not willing to allow Satan to win a victory so we are not willing to allow a virus to have the upper hand. With that said, here is our plan for the next two weeks or until the CDC and local authorities relax their recommendations.
Sundays March 22 and 29:
Our church office will be open from 9am till 2pm during the weekdays. Church meetings of less than 10 can still use the building, but we ask that you remain home if you are ill or have any symptoms and that you keep the office informed since changes can come unexpectedly. Many classes are moving to Zoom, you can reach out to your teachers or the church office for options or help setting anything up. Please do not feel that you need to come to the church building while Social Distancing is recommended.
We have been asked about how tithing should work in the age of social distancing. There are various ways you may give.
1. Mail a check to the church.
2. Have your bank mail the check from on-line banking.
3. Click here to give online.
Already we have seen members volunteering to help individuals who can't get out with meeting their needs. In the same spirit the whole Antioch Community is behind them and will coordinate the efforts. The individuals are free to function without the church involvement, but if you have a need let the church know, if you are healthy and available to help call the office and sign up on our list and when a need comes in you will be notified.
If this event lasts longer than two weeks, we will revisit out provisions and see if there is something more we need to do. We are actively working on a plan to provide communion and prayer. Please stay tuned in the coming days and weeks as we let you know more.
