Our Mission and Main Objective
Antioch Christian Church is organized on the Greatest Commandment and the Great Commission. In the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 22, verses 37-40, Jesus says, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and foremost commandment. The second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. Upon these two commandments hang the whole Law and the Prophets." In the same Gospel, Chapter 28, verses 19-20, Jesus spoke saying, "All authority on heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with your always, to the end of the age."
Our main objective, therefore, is to present every person complete in Christ. We strive to accomplish this by loving all and proclaiming Christ to all, urging and teaching everyone to follow Him, and by striving to act in the power of the Holy Spirit.
